Efraym Elliott Yamin (born July 20th, 1978) was a contestant on Season 5 of American Idol.

Elliott's audition was not originally televised, but American Idol Rewind revealed he auditioned in Boston. He sang "A Song for You" by Leon Russell. All three judges voted "yes," sending him to the next round
Hollywood Round[]
Elliott was shown in a group with called "The Idol-Phonics" with Terrell Brittenum, Jose "Sway" Penala and Anthony Hansen singing "It's In Her Kiss" by Betty Everett. Afterwards, he made the judges' final forty-four and at the final deliberation, they told him he made the Top 24.

- During the Top 3, it was revealed that he had gotten 33.06% of the votes, compared to 33.26% and 33.68% for the other two contestants. As to who got what percentage was not revealed.
- He was born on the exact same day as Chris Sligh.
