Elijah Liu (born September 7th, 1994) was a contestant on Season 11 and Season 12 of American Idol.

Season 11 Audition[edit | edit source]

Elijah's audition was not televised, but the American Idol indicated that he received a Golden Ticket.

Season 11 Hollywood Round[edit | edit source]

Elijah's stay in Hollywood wasn't televised much, but it is presumed that he was eliminated sometime whilst there.

Season 12 Audition[edit | edit source]

Elijah's audition was not televised, but a flashback revealed he auditioned in Long Beach.

Season 12 Hollywood Round[edit | edit source]

Elijah was shown in a group called "Young Love" with Zach Birnbaum, Nate Tao and Cortez Shaw singing "Some Kind of Wonderful" by Soul Brothers Six. Everyone in the group advanced and he eventually did enough to make the Top 20 Guys.

Top 40[edit | edit source]

Elijah was shown in Male Group 1 and sang "Talking to the Moon" by Bruno Mars. Afterwards, the judges told him he did enough to become a semifinalist.

Top 20[edit | edit source]

Elijah sang "Stay" by Rihanna, ft. Mikky Ekko. He did not manage to place among the five highest voted male contestants, eliminating him from the competition.
