Audition
Dontrell auditioned in Austin. He sang "For Your Glory" by Tasha Cobbs and "Tennessee Whiskey" by Chris Stapleton. Although Katy voted "no", Lionel and Luke voted "yes", sending him to the next round.
Hollywood Round
Dontrell's stay in Hollywood was not shown much, but on his final solo performance, he sang "Hello" by Lionel Richie. Afterwards, the judges told him that he did not do enough to make the Top 24.
