Dimitrius Graham (born June 8, 1991) was a contestant on Season 17 of American Idol.
Audition[]
Dimitrius' audition was not televised.
Hollywood Round[]
Dimitrius was shown in the first part of Hollywood Week, in the same Group of Ten as Wade Cota. He sang "Wind Beneath My Wings" by Bette Midler. He advanced and was shown in a group called "Unexpected Vibe" with Shayy, Assata Renay and William Oliver Jr. singing "I Want it That Way" by Backstreet Boys. As a sign of respect and connection with Shayy, the other three members of the group all put on goggles near the end of their performance. Everyone in his group advanced except for William. After his untelevised final solo performance, he was placed in the third deliberation room, along with Tyler Mitchell, Wade Cota, Alyssa Raghu, Bumbly, Kason Lester, Eddie Island, Shawn Robinson and Myra Tran. It was revealed that everyone in the room advanced.
Hawaii Round[]
Dimitrius sang "Latch" by Disclosure, ft. Sam Smith. The judges felt he was good enough to become a semifinalist.
Top 20[]
Dimitrius sang "Hello" by Adele and "Love Someone" by Lukas Graham in a duet with Graham. Afterwards, the judges told him he did enough to become a Top 14 finalist.
Top 14[]
Dimitrius sang "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran during the Live Show. Next, he sang "When the Party's Over" by Billie Eilish. He did not make the Top 7 in the voting, but was saved by Luke Bryan, making him a Top 10 finalist.
Top 10[]
Dimitrius sang "You'll Be in My Heart" by Phil Collins from Tarzan. He, along with Uché, received the lowest number of votes, and the judges chose not to save him, eliminating him from the competition.

Trivia[]
- At the time of his first solo performance in Hollywood Week, Dimitrius' mother was about to have a surgery, so he requested to face-time his mother from the hospital so she could watch his performance, which the judges accepted.
- After his Group Round performance, he mentioned his mother made a full recovery.
