David Radford (born March 22nd, 1988) was a contestant on Season 5 of American Idol.
Audition[]
David auditioned in Chicago. He sang "Summer Wind" by Frank Sinatra. All three judges voted "yes", sending him to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
David was shown in the first part of Hollywood Week singing "If I Ever Fall in Love" by Shai. He was shown in a group called "The Rat Pack" with Kevin Covais, Josh Jordan and Will Makar singing "Fly Me to the Moon" by Frank Sinatra. Everyone in his group advanced. For his final solo performance, he sang "Dream a Little Dream of Me" by Ozzie Nelson. The judges placed him in their final forty-four and at the final deliberation, they told him he did enough to make the Top 24.

David sang "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" by Queen. He received enough votes to be considered "safe" for that week.
Top 20[]
David sang "The Way You Look Tonight" by Fred Astaire. He received the lowest number of votes among the boys, eliminating him from the competition.
