Daniel Anthony "Danny" Noriega (born September 29th, 1989) was a contestant on Season 6 and Season 7 of American Idol.

Season 6 Audition[]

Danny auditioned in Season 6. At least two judges voted "yes", sending him to the next round.

Season 6 Hollywood Round[]

Danny was cut on the first day of the Hollywood Rounds.

Season 7 Audition[]

Danny auditioned again in San Diego. He sang "Proud Mary" by Creedence Clearwater Revival. All three judges voted "yes", sending him to the next round.

Season 7 Hollywood Round[]

Danny was featured on the second day of Hollywood Week. He sang "When I Need You" by Leo Sayer. All three judges voted "yes", giving him a free ride to the final day of Hollywood Week. He managed to make the judges' final fifty and during the final deliberation, it was revealed he made the Top 24.

Top 24[]

Danny sang "Jailhouse Rock" by Elvis Presley. He received enough votes to be considered "safe" for that week.

Top 20[]

Danny sang "Superstar" by Delaney & Bonnie. He received enough votes to be considered "safe" for that week.

Top 16[]

Danny sang "Tainted Love" by Soft Cell. He was placed in the Bottom 2 for that week, eliminating him from the competition.

After the Show[]

Danny appeared in the sixth season of RuPaul's Drag Race as his drag persona Adore Delano. He finished as the runner-up for that season. He also participated in RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars but quit in the second episode, placing 9th overall.
