Dalton auditioned in New York. He sang "Boy" by Lee Brice. All three judges voted "yes", sending him to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Dalton was shown in the first part of Hollywood Week, in the same Group of Ten as Shawn Robinson, Colby Swift and Katie Belle. He wasn't shown singing, but Ryan Seacrest mentioned that he advanced. After that, his stay in Hollywood wasn't shown much, and he was probably eliminated at some point whilst there.
