Colin Jamieson (born May 14th, 1998)[1] was a contestant on Season 19 of American Idol.
Audition[]
Colin sang "Six Feet Under" by Billie Eilish. Lionel and Katy voted "yes", sending him to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Colin was shown in the "Pop" category of the Genre Challenge, alongside Mary Jo Young and Claudia Conway. He sang "Sex on Fire" by Kings of Leon. During the Showstoppers Round, he sang "Sugar We're Going Down" by Fall Out Boy. Afterwards, during the Final Judgment, the judges told him that he made the Top 24.
Top 24[]
Colin sang "Locked Out of Heaven" by Bruno Mars and "Hollow" by Tori Kelly in a duet with Kelly. He received enough votes to be considered "safe".
Top 16[]
Colin sang "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Tears for Fears. He did not receive enough votes to become a Top 12 finalist, and was placed in the "Danger Zone" awaiting the Judges' Wild-Card verdict.
Wild-Card[]
Colin sang "Waves" by Dean Lewis. He was not selected as the Judges' Wild-Card and was eliminated.
