Christopher auditioned in New York where he sang "All or Nothing" by O-Town. All three judges voted "no", eliminating him from the competition. Simon in particular called him the worst singer in New York, which Christopher did not believe. Simon then offered a deal to Christopher, to find a singer in New York that is worse than him and bring him in the next day. Whether Christopher actually met up with Simon on this deal was never televised.
