Christopher Watson (born May 23, 1987)[1][2], later professionally known as Xhris Watson[3], was a contestant on Season 7 and Season 12 of American Idol.
Season 7 Audition[]
Chris auditioned in Philadelphia. He sang "Follow Me" by Uncle Kracker. All three judges voted "yes", sending him to the next round.
Season 7 Hollywood Round[]
Chris was briefly shown on the third day in a group of ten, receiving the news that everyone in his group, including him, was eliminated from the competition.
Season 12 Audition[]
Chris's audition was not televised, but a flashback revealed that he auditioned in New York.
Season 12 Hollywood Round[]
Chris was shown in the same Group of Ten as Brian Rittenberry. He was later shown in a group called "B-Side" with Gurpreet Singh Sarin and Peter Garrett singing "Payphone" by Maroon 5, ft. Wiz Khalifa. Despite a disastrous performance, everyone in the group advanced. Later on, it was announced that he did enough to make the Top 20 Guys.
Top 40[]
Chris appeared in Male Group 1 sang "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay" by Otis Redding. Afterwards, the judges told him he did not make the Top 20 semifinalists.
