Charles Christopher "Chris" Sligh (born April 13th, 1978)[1] was a contestant on Season 6 of American Idol.
Audition[]
Chris auditioned in Birmingham. He sang "Kiss from a Rose" by Seal. Randy and Paula both voted "yes", sending him to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Although he was not shown singing, he was in the same group of six as Jarrod Fowler and Matt Sato. He was also shown advancing to the next day. He was later shown in a group with Blake Lewis, Rudy Cardenas and Thomas Lowe, singing "How Deep is Your Love" by The Bee Gees. He managed to survive all the way to the judges' final forty. On the final day, he sang "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?" by Bryan Adams. Afterwards, it was revealed that he did enough to make the Top 24.

Chris sang "Trouble" by Ray LaMontagne. He received enough votes to be considered "safe" for that week.

Chris sang "Every Little Thing She Does is Magic" by The Police. He received the lowest number of votes that week, eliminating him from the competition.
