Christopher Edward "Chris" Medina (born November 30th, 1983) was a contestant on Season 10 of American Idol.
Audition[]
Chris auditioned in Milwaukee. She sang "Break Even" by The Script. All three judges voted "yes", sending him to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Chris was shown in the first part of Hollywood Round singing "You and I" by Jason Mraz and later was shown in a group called "Four Non-Blondes and That Guy" along with Carson Higgins, Caleb Hawley and Devyn Rush singing "Forget You" by Cee-Lo Green. For the third round, he sang "My Prerogative" by Bobby Brown. He was placed in the first deliberation room along with Ashley Sullivan, Brett Loewenstern, Jacee Badeaux, Clint Jun Gamboa, Casey Abrams, James Durbin, Robbie Rosen and Lauren Alaina amongst others. Everyone in his room advanced.
Las Vegas Round[]
In Las Vegas, he was shown "A Hard Day's Night" song with Casey Abrams.
Back in Hollywood, he sang "Fix You" by Coldplay. Later, the judges told him he did not make the Top 24. Jennifer Lopez in particular was visibly heartbroken by this news and proceeded to cry afterwards.
