Chris auditioned in Salt Lake City. He brought along his friend "Greg the Rabbit" who was a man in a bunny costume as moral support. He tried to sing "Roll to Me" by Del Amitri and "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, but Simon stopped him both times because he thought it was too weird. He was eliminated at this stage of the competition.
