Chris Golightly was a contestant on Season 9 of American Idol.

Audition[edit | edit source]

Chris auditioned in Los Angeles. He sang "Stand By Me" by Ben E. King. All four judges voted "yes", sending him to the next round.

Hollywood Round[edit | edit source]

Chris' stay in Hollywood was not shown much, but he did enough to make it to the final forty-six. At the judges' final deliberation, they told him he made it to the Top 24.

However, he got disqualified for having a prior record deal. Tim Urban served as his replacement.
