Chikezie Ndubuisi Eze (born September 11th, 1985) was a contestant on Season 6 and Season 7 of American Idol.

Season 6 Audition[]

Chikezie auditioned in Season 6. Not much is known outside of the fact that Randy probably said "no".

Season 7 Audition[]

Chikezie auditioned again in San Diego. He sang "All the Woman I Need" by Luther Vandross. It is not known how the judges voted, but at least two of them said "yes", sending him to the next round.

Hollywood Round[]

Chikezie was shown a bit throughout Hollywood Week, but eventually made it to the judges' final fifty. During the final deliberation, it was revealed that he made the Top 24.

Top 24[]

Chikezie sang "More Today Than Yesterday" by The Spiral Starecase. He received enough votes to be considered "safe" for that week.

Top 20[]

Chikezie sang "I Believe My Soul" by Donny Hathaway. He received enough votes to be considered "safe" for that week.

Top 16[]

Chikezie sang "All the Man That I Need" by Linda Clifford. He received enough votes to become a Top 12 finalist.

Top 12[]

Chikezie sang "She's a Woman" by The Beatles. He received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.

Top 11[]

Chikezie sang "I've Just Seen the Face" by The Beatles. He received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.

Top 10[]

Chikezie sang "If Only for One Night" by Luther Vandross. He received the lowest number of votes for that week, eliminating him from the competition.
