Cate auditioned in Los Angeles. She sang an original song called "The Place That I Call Home". All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Cate's performance wasn't shown, but she did survive the Idol Arena stage, and was seen among the Top 57 at the end, along with Victoria Johnson, Sophia Ava Marie, Alto Moon, Ricky Moyer, Alyssa Raghu, and Jayna Elise. Her Showstopper performance and Final Judgment verdict were both untelevised, but it is presumed that she did not do enough to become one of the Top 24 semifinalists.
