Audition[]
Cassie auditioned in Houston. She sang "Stormy Weather". Randy and Simon both voted "yes", sending her to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Cassie was shown in the second part of Hollywood Week, visibly forgetting her lyrics. After mentioning that it was the lights that were bothering her, they turned some of the studio lights off and tried again, but she still forgot her lyrics. Despite this, she survived the first cut. Cassie managed to advance to the final day of Hollywood Week, and although she was not shown singing, Simon did advise her on her image after performing. Ultimately, she did not make the judges' final thirty-two.
