Casey Thrasher was a contestant on Season 13 and Season 14 of American Idol.
Season 13 Audition[]
Casey auditioned in Salt Lake City. He sang "Believe" by Brooks & Dunn. All three judges voted "yes", sending him to the next round.
Season 13 Hollywood Round[]
Casey was shown in the first part of Hollywood Week, in the same Group of Ten as Rachel Rolleri, Maurice Townsend and Jordan Brisbane. He sang "He Stopped Loving Her Today" by George Jones. He was later shown in a group called "Backstreet Cowboys" with Ben Briley and Dexter Roberts singing "I Want It That Way" by Backstreet Boys. Everyone in the group advanced. For his final solo performance, he sang "Amazed" by Lonestar. During the Final Judgment, he was called alongside C.J. Harris. The judges could not decide between the two, so they asked for a sing-off. On the spot, he sang "Don't Ya" by Brett Eldredge. The judges decided that both gentlemen did enough to become Top 30 finalists.

Casey was not chosen by the judges to sing during Rush Week, eliminating him from the competition.

Casey auditioned in Kansas City. All three judges voted "yes", sending him to the next round.

Casey was shown in the same Line of Ten as Erica Washington.
