Casey Abrams (born February 12, 1991) was a contestant on Season 10 of American Idol.

Audition

Casey auditioned in Austin. He sang "I Don't Need No Doctor" by Ray Charles. All three judges voted "yes", sending him to the next round.

Hollywood Round

Casey was shown in the first part of Hollywood Round singing "Lullaby in Birdland" by Ray Charles. He was later shown in a group called "The Night Owls" with Julie Zorrilla, Dan Noguchi, Melissa Lucas and Lara Johnston. He was shown in the third part of Hollywood Round singing "Georgia on My Mind" by Ray Charles while playing a stand-up bass. He was placed in the first deliberation room along with Ashley Sullivan, Brett Loewenstern, Jacee Badeaux, Clint Jun Gamboa, James Durbin, Chris Medina, Robbie Rosen and Lauren Alaina amongst others. Everyone in his room advanced.

Las Vegas Round

In Las Vegas, he was shown "A Hard Day's Night" song with Chris Medina. He advanced.

For his final solo performance, he sang "Why Don't You Do Right?" by Kansas Joe McCoy. The judges told him during the final deliberation that he advanced to the Top 24.

Top 24

Casey sang "I Put a Spell on You" by Screamin' Jay Hawkins. He was placed in the Top 5 for the boys that week, making him a Top 13 finalist.
