Ciara-Camile Roque "Camile" Velasco (born September 1, 1985) was a contestant in Season 3 of American Idol.

Camile auditioned in Honolulu. She sang "Ready or Not" by The Fugees. All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Hollywood Round[edit | edit source]

Her time in Hollywood was not televised much, but she did manage to make the judges' final thirty-two.

Top 32[edit | edit source]

Camile appeared in Group 2. She sang "One Last Cry" by Brian McKnight. She received enough votes to make the Top 2 in her group, making her a Top 12 finalist.

Camile sang "Son of a Preacher Man" by Dusty Springfield. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for that week.

Camile sang "Desperado" by Eagles. She was placed in the Bottom 2 for that week.

Camile sang "For Once in My Life" by Stevie Wonder. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for that week.

Camile sang "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" by Elton John. She received the lowest number of votes for that week, eliminating her from the competition.
