Cameron Whitcomb (born March 20, 2003)[1] was a contestant on Season 20 of American Idol.

Audition[]

Cameron auditioned in Austin. He sang "Rock, Salt & Nails" by Tyler Childers. Although Lionel voted "no", Katy and Luke voted "yes", sending him to the next round.

Hollywood Round[]

Cameron was shown in a duet with Tristen Gressett called "Both Crazy", singing "Have You Ever Seen the Rain?" by Creedence Clearwater Revival. For his final solo performance, he sang "It Ain't Me Babe" by Bob Dylan. Afterwards, the judges told him that he did enough to make the Top 24.

Top 24[]

Cameron appeared in Group 2 and he sang "Bad Moon Rising" by Creedence Clearwater Revival. He received enough votes to advance.

Top 20[]

Cameron sang "Changes" by Black Sabbath. He did not receive enough votes to place in the Top 10, putting him in danger of elimination. He then sang "If It Hadn't Been for Love" by The Steeldrivers. The judges didn't pick him, thus eliminating him from the competition.
