William Joel "Bucky" Covington III (born November 8th, 1977) was a contestant on Season 5 of American Idol.

Hollywood Round[]

Bucky's stay in Hollywood was not shown much, but he sang "Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts for his final solo performance. He was then placed in the same holding room as Terrell Brittenum, Kevin Covais, Kellie Pickler and Ace Young. Everyone in the room advanced to the final forty-four. At the judges' final deliberation, they told him he did enough to advance to the Top 24.
