Brooke Elizabeth White (born June 2nd, 1983) was a contestant on Season 7 of American Idol.

Audition[edit | edit source]

Brooke auditioned in Philadelphia. She sang "Like a Star" by Corinne Bailey Rae. All three judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.

Hollywood Round[edit | edit source]

Brooke was the first contestant showcased during Hollywood Week. During the first day, she sang "Beautiful" by Christina Aguilera while playing a piano. All three judges voted "yes", giving her a free ride to the final day of Hollywood Week. She managed to advance to the judges' final fifty and during the final deliberation, it was revealed that she had made the Top 24.

Brooke sang "Happy Together" by The Turtles. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for that week.

Top 20[edit | edit source]

Brooke sang "You're So Vain" by Carly Simon. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for that week.

Brooke sang "Love is a Battlefield" by Pat Benatar. She received enough votes to make the Top 12.

Brooke sang "Let it Be" by The Beatles. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.

Brooke sang "Here Comes the Sun" by The Beatles. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.

Brooke sang "Every Breath You Take" by The Police. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.

Brooke sang "Jolene" by Dolly Parton. She was placed in the Bottom 3 for that week.

Brooke sang "You've Got a Friend" by Carole King. He received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.

Brooke sang "Hero" by Mariah Carey. She was placed in the Bottom 3 for that week.

Brooke sang "You Must Love Me" by Madonna from Evita. After singing the first verse of the song, she requested that the band start the song over again because she forgot the lyrics. Despite this, she received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.

Brooke sang "I'm a Believer" by The Monkees and "I Am... I Said" by Neil Diamond. She received the lowest number of votes for that week, eliminating her from the competition.
