Brooke Elizabeth Barrettsmith (born January 4th, 1982) was a contestant on Season 5 of American Idol.
Audition[]
Brooke auditioned in Chicago. She sang "The Shoop Shoop Song (It's in His Kiss)" by Betty Everett. Although Simon voted "no", Randy and Paula voted "yes", sending her to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Brooke was shown in a Group Round montage with Mandisa and Sarah Enouen singing "Band of Gold" by Freda Payne. She managed to survive to the final forty-four. At the judges' final deliberation, it was revealed that she did not make the Top 24.
