Brandy Hotard (February 1, 1986)[1] was a contestant on Season 12 of American Idol.
Audition[]
Brandy auditioned in Baton Rouge. She sang "Hell on Heels" by Pistol Annies. All four judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Brandy was shown in a group called "Raisin' Cane" with Lauren Mink and Morgan Leigh Boberg singing "Sin Wagon" by Dixie Chicks. Everyone in the group advanced and eventually, Brandy did enough to make the Top 20 Girls.
Top 40[]
Brandy was shown in Female Group 1 and sang "Anymore" by Travis Tritt. Afterwards, the judges told her that she did become a semifinalist.
