Brandon Diaz was a contestant on Season 16 of American Idol.

Audition[edit | edit source]

Brandon auditioned in New Orleans. He sang "Unaware" by Allen Stone. All three judges voted "yes", sending him to the next round.

Hollywood Round[edit | edit source]

His stay in Hollywood wasn't televised much, but he did advance to the Top 50. During the Showcase Round, he sang "Let's Get It On" by Marvin Gaye. At the Final Judgment, it was revealed that he did enough to advance to the Top 24.

Top 24[edit | edit source]

Brandon was shown in Group 1. He sang "Hello" by Lionel Richie and "Despacito" by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, in a duet with Fonsi. He was eliminated at this stage of the competition.

  • Prior to auditioning, Brandon appeared on the fourth season of The Voice, but failed to turn any chairs.
