Harold Elwin "Bo" Bice, Jr. (born November 1st, 1975) was a contestant on Season 4 of American Idol.
Audition[]
Bo's audition was not originally televised, but was shown during the Top 4 Results Show. He auditioned in Orlando and sang "Whipping Post" by The Allman Brothers. All three judges voted "yes", sending him to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Bo was shown in the first part of Hollywood Round, singing "The Letter" by The Box Tops and he was shown in the same group of ten as Constantine Maroulis and Aaron Kelly. Afterwards, the judges told him he did well enough to advance. After his final solo performance in front of the judges, it was revealed afterwards that she did enough to advance along with Anthony Fedorov, Jaclyn Crum, Tammy Wynette Nash, Scott Savol, John Zisa, Mikalah Gordon, Lindsey Cardinale and Jessica Sierra. During the judges' final deliberation, it was revealed that he did enough to land a spot in the Top 24.

Bo sang "Drift Away" by Dobie Gray. He received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.

Bo sang "Long, Long Road" by Appleton, "Vehicle" by The Ides of March and "Inside Your Heaven". He received fewer votes than Carrie Underwood, making him the runner-up.
Trivia[]
- Bo's performance of "In a Dream" was the first time during an American Idol live show that a contestant sang completely without band accompaniment.
