Rebecca Marie "Becky" O'Donohue (born July 13th, 1980) was a contestant on Season 5 of American Idol.
Audition[]
Rebecca auditioned in Boston. She sang "Black Velvet" by Alannah Myles. Although Simon voted "no", Randy and Paula voted "yes", sending her to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Her stay in Hollywood was not televised much, but at the judges final deliberation, they told her she had made the Top 24.
Top 24[]
Becky sang "Because the Night" by Patti Smith. She was placed in the Bottom 2 for that week, eliminating her from the competition.
Trivia[]
- She was accompanied with her twin sister Jessica Elleanore "Jessie" O'Donohue, but she did not audition due to having an operation beforehand which hindered her vocal chords.
