Aubrey Cleland (born July 10th, 1993) was a contestant on Season 10, Season 11 and Season 12 of American Idol.

Season 10 Audition

Aubrey's audition was never televised, but the American Idol website indicated that she auditioned in San Francisco and got a Golden Ticket.

Season 10 Hollywood Round

Aubrey's stay in Hollywood wasn't shown much, but was in an untelevised group with Adrienne Beasley, Jerome Bell and Ta-Tynisa Wilson. It is presumed that she was eliminated sometime thereafter.

Season 11 Audition

Aubrey's audition was never televised, but the American Idol website indicated that she auditioned in Portland and got a Golden Ticket.

Aubrey's stay in Hollywood wasn't shown much, but it is presumed that she was eliminated sometime whilst there.

Aubrey was shown in an unknown group singing "Turning Tables" by Adele. She advanced and eventually did enough to make the Top 20 Girls.

Aubrey was shown in Female Group 2 singing "Sweet Dreams" by Beyonce. Afterwards, the judges told her she did enough to make the semifinals.

Top 20

Aubrey sang "Big Girls Don't Cry" by Fergie. She did not manage to place among the five highest voted female contestants, eliminating her from the competition.

Sing-off

On March 14th, 2013, a sing-off occurred between Aubrey and Charlie Askew, the male and female contestant who finished in sixth place respectively in each group, for a place on the American Idol Live! Tour 2013. Aubrey sang "Out Here on My Own" by Irene Cara. She received more votes than Charlie, giving her a place on the tour.
