Ann's husband nominated her to audition. Randy Jackson surprised her at an Arkansas Razorbacks game telling her she won the privilege to audition in front of the judges.
Ann auditioned in San Antonio. She sang "Stronger" by Faith Hill. All four judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.
