Angela Kristine Miller (born February 17, 1994), known during the season as Angie Miller, was a contestant on Season 12 of American Idol.
Audition[]
Angela auditioned in New York. She sang "Mamma Knows Best" by Jessie J. All four judges voted "yes", sending her to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Angela was shown in the first televised female Group of Ten with Victoria Acosta and Mariah Pulice. She sang "Who You Are" by Jessie J. It was revealed afterwards that she and Victoria advanced. She was later shown in a group called "The Misfits" with Janelle Arthur, Breanna Steer and Kez Ban singing "Be My Baby" by The Ronettes. Everyone in her group advanced. For her final solo performance, she sang an original song called "You Set Me Free". Afterwards, it was revealed that she advanced along with Candice Glover, Janelle Arthur, Jett Hermano and Zoanette Johnson. She eventually did enough to make the Top 20 Girls.

Angela appeared in Female Group 1 and sang "Nobody's Perfect" by Jessie J. Afterwards, the judges told her that she did enough to become a semifinalist.

Angie sang "Never Gone" by Colton Dixon. She received enough votes to place her in the five highest voted female contestants, making her a Top 10 finalist. To celebrate, she sang "I Was Here" by Beyonce during the results show.

Angie sang "I Surrender" by Kelly Clarkson. She was placed in the Top 3 in the voting, making her safe for another week.

Angie sang "Yesterday" by The Beatles. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.

Angie sang "Shop Around" by The Miracles and "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me" by Diana Ross and The Supremes in a trio with Candice Glover and Amber Holcomb. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.

Angie sang "Bring Me to Life" by Evanescence and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" in a duet with Lazaro Arbos. She was received enough votes to be placed in the Top 3 for that week.

Angie sang "Anyone Who Had a Heart" by Dionne Warwick and "Love Came Down" by Kari Jobe. She received enough votes to be considered "safe" for another week.
