Alexandra Bachelier (born November 10, 1981)[1] was a contestant on Season 1 of American Idol.
Audition[]
Alexandra auditioned in Miami. She sang "Genie in a Bottle" by Christina Aguilera. Paula and at least one other judge voted "yes", sending her through to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Alexandra was shown during the second part of Hollywood Week, in a group with Tenia Taylor and Jennifer Rodriguez. She and Tenia advanced, while Jennifer was eliminated. She was also shown briefly during the solo rounds, albeit not heard singing. She managed to progress to the Top 30.
Top 30[]
Alexandra was in Group 2, and sang "Save the Best for Last" by Vanessa Williams. She did not receive enough votes to make the Top 10, thus eliminating her from the competition.
Trivia[]
- She and Tenia Taylor were friends prior to the show. Not only did both make Top 30, but each competed in Group 2 together.
