Season 13 Audition[]
Although never televised, Jennifer Lopez mentioned during his Season 14 audition that he auditioned the previous season. He later mentioned that he did not receive a Golden Ticket.
Season 14 Audition[]
Alex auditioned in Nashville. He sang "I See Fire" by Ed Sheeran. Although Harry voted "no", Keith and Jennifer voted "yes", sending him to the next round.
Hollywood Round[]
Alex was shown in the second part of Hollywood Week, in a group with Mark Andrew, Vanessa Andrea and Katherine Winston singing "With a Little Help From My Friends" by Joe Cocker. Although not shown performing, he was later shown in a montage of contestants who were eliminated following their final solo performance, along with Jess Lamb and Piper Jones.
