Alex Miller was a contestant on Season 19 of American Idol.

Audition[]

Alex auditioned in San Diego. He sang an original song called "I'm Over You, So Get Over Me" for his audition. All three judges voted "yes", sending him to the next round.

Hollywood Round[]

Alex was shown in the "Country" category of the Genre Challenge, alongside Drake McCain, Caleb Kennedy, Mignon, Mason Picks, Cameron McGhar and Cecil Ray. He was later shown in a duet with Emisunshine called "Minor Harmony" singing "I Walk the Line" by Johnny Cash. Both contestants advanced. During the Showstoppers Round, he sang "Silver Wings" by Merle Haggard. Afterwards, during the Final Judgment, the judges told him that he didn't make the Top 24.

Sometime after he was eliminated, Luke surprised Alex with an invitation to perform at the Grand Ole Opry.
