Adam Brock (born May 29th, 1984- ) was a contestant on Season 11 of American Idol.
Audition[]
Adam's audition was not televised, but was shown in a flashback during Hollywood Week. He auditioned in Pittsburgh and sang "Stormy Weather" by Ethel Waters.
Hollywood Round[]
Adam was shown in the first part of Hollywood Week, the same Group of Ten as Jane Carrey. He advanced and was shown in a montage of contestants who survived Group Round. For his final solo performance, he sang "Georgia on My Mind" by Ray Charles. Afterwards, he was placed in the first deliberation room along with Jen Hirsh, Erika Van Pelt, Hallie Day, Creighton Fraker, Joshua Ledet, David Leathers, Jr., Johnny Keyser, Colton Dixon, Jermaine Jones, Elise Testone and Lauren Gray, where it was revealed that everyone in the room had advanced.
Las Vegas Round[]
Adam was shown in a group with Erika Van Pelt, Angie Zeiderman and Shelby Tweten singing "Great Balls of Fire" by Jerry Lee Lewis. Everyone in his group advanced.
For his final solo performance, he sang "You Don't Know Me" by Ray Charles. At the Final Judgment, the judges told him that he did enough to make the Top 24.
Top 25[]
Adam sang "Think" by Aretha Franklin. He was eliminated at this stage of the competition.
