Aaron was shown in a group called "Four Plus One" with Jordan Dorsey and Robbie Rosen. He did enough to progress to the top sixty-one.

Season 10 Las Vegas Round

In Las Vegas, he was shown singing "Got to Get You Into My Life" with Jordan and Robbie. He was eliminated at some point thereafter.

Season 11 Audition

Aaron auditioned in Pittsburgh. He sang "A Change is Gonna Come" by Sam Cooke. All three judges voted "yes", sending him to the next round.

Season 11 Hollywood Round

Aaron was shown in the first part of Hollywood Week, in the same Group of Ten as Erika Van Pelt. He sang "Starting Here, Starting Now". He advanced and was later shown in a group called "Groove Sauce" along with Nick Boddington, Reed Grimm, Jen Hirsh and Creighton Fraker singing "Hold On, I'm Comin'" by Sam & Dave. Everyone in his group advanced. He was later shown in a deliberation room that received good news and advanced to the final seventy.

Las Vegas Round

Aaron was shown in a group called "Lady and the Spectacles" with Jen Hirsh, Nick Boddington and Creighton Fraker singing "Sealed with a Kiss" by The Four Voices. Everyone in the group except Nick advanced.

At the final judgment, the judges told him he did enough to advance to the Top 24.

Top 25

Aaron sang "Never Can Say Goodbye" by The Jackson 5. He was eliminated at this stage of the competition.
