Aaron's audition was not televised, but he auditioned in St. Louis
Hollywood Round
Aaron was shown in the first part of Hollywood Rounds and he was shown in the same group of ten along with Constantine Maroulis and Bo Bice, singing "The Letter" by The Box Tops. Afterwards, the judges told him he did enough to advance. In the second round, he was shown in a group with Lamar Jefferson and Timothy Sauer. The judges' deliberation for his group in particular raised an argument among Simon and Paula, even to the point of Paula calling the executive producer over. Aaron was eliminated following his group performance along with Lamar.
